Honestbee Malaysia operations temporarily suspended
Online grocery supplier honestbee who halted its delivery service in Singapore in May as a consequence of a significant review of its company said it will “momentarily suspend” its activities in Malaysia from Monday (Jul 22).
In an email viewed by CNA, the service provider said the choice to “overhaul the honestbee company and move back to support (clients) easier in the future” was taken at Singapore office.
Customers of Honestbee can still commission their groceries for delivery during the evening by Friday.
“We’re sorry about any inconvenience we could cause, but don’t worry, we’re already working hard to get back as soon as possible,” said the company.
In late May, honestbee revealed that a portion of its “continuing global evaluation of our company,” co-founder Joel Sng stepped down as Chief Executive Officer, with the role to be taken by the main shareholder Brian Koo.
A few times ago that month, the firm announced that it would cancel its Singapore food supply and laundry service “to optimise the business structure.”
This arose after the firm stopped its FairPrice products concierge product in January.
